Description

Folios 692-693: Philippe D'Auvergne, Duke de Bouillon, Jersey. Encloses the last communication from the continent [folios 694-697]. Observes that the troops embarked for the project must be extremely crowded and as they are short of stores the believes they have no planned action. Advises that the shipping acquired last year does not appear to be armed and that he has informed the Admiralty at Guernsey of the embarkation of corn at Cancalle.

Folios 694-697: enclosure with folios 692-693. Letter dated 3 January 1805 by Philippe D'Auvergne, Duke de Bouillon, Jersey. Report on communications from the continent to the 20 December 1804. Includes a report on the state of the fleet in the Roads at Brest on 7 December 1804, stating ships names, guns and Captains and intelligence report on St Maloes 20 December 1804.
