Folios 619-620: John Davies, HMS Otter, Buchaness [Buchan Ness]. Reports that due to his recent sailing he had not received the Admiralty Order to discharge the men impressed from the Cruizer Privateer. Outlines the action he took in detaining these men for service and outlines the failure of the Cruizer Privateer to provide the Protection for his inspection. Explains that he will report to Peter Head once a week and will await their instruction. If they are to be discharged, he can then leave them at Yarmouth before returning to the Downes.
