Folios 575-576: John Davies, HMS Otter, Bridlington Bay, Coast of Yorkshire. Reports anchoring the previous evening to set up the rigging. Reports impressing seven men on 15 June 1805 out of the cruiser Privateer of London and outlines his reasons for doing this. Requests permission to occasionally set out to sea to fall in with the Greenland ships on their return as they board their unprotected men on the coast. Adds that he found at anchor the ? and Vixen Gun Brigs and Swift Cutter.
