Folios 258-259: enclosure with folios 256-257. Letter dated 21 June 1805 by Francis Douglas, Clatterford, Isle of Wight. States that he has been unemployed for five years apart from three months. Adds that he had the honour of commanding HMS Cyclops and requests that he be given a active command.
