Folios 153-154: Philip Dumaresq, HMS Charwell, Grouville Bay. Reports receipt of a letter from Lieutenant Leslie Boulderson, along with a surgeon's certificate, to confirm his ill health and requesting he be superceded on HMS Charwell and sent to a warmer climate.
Folio 155: enclosure with folios 153-154. Letter dated 11 November 1805 by Alexander Short, Surgeon, HMS Charwell, Grouville Bay, Jersey. States that Lieutenant Leslie Boulderson is frequently unwell and would benefit from working in a warm climate.
Folio 156: enclosure with folios 153-154. Letter dated 12 November 1805 by Leslie Boulderson, HMS Charwell, Jersey to the Admiralty. Request to work onshore or in a warmer climate, such as the West Indies, as he has found that being afloat in winter is detrimental to his health.
