Description

Folios 149-150: Philip Dumaresq, HMS Charwell, Grouville Bay [Jersey]. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Robert Forster requesting to be superceded to enable him to settle his Father's affairs and to spend time with his family.

Folios 151-152: enclosure with folios 149-150. Letter dated 20 August 1803 by Robert Forster, HMS Charwell, Grouville Bay, Jersey to the Admiralty. Request to be superceded as he has been away from home for ten years and needs to deal with his late Father's affairs.
