Folios 138-139: Philip Dumaresq, HMS Charwell, Jersey Roads. Response to a request from William Putteney to report the case of Richard Buck, who was impressed. He was taken from a vessel at Weymouth and had no Protection Certificate. He has since been informed by Captain Ingram that he was discharged from the Sea Fencibles as being a seaman and has proved capable of service.
