Description

Folios 107-108: James Dunbar, HMS Poulette, at Sea. Encloses a copy of his letter to Admiral George Montague.

Folios 109-110: enclosure with folios 107-108. Letter dated 15 August 1805 by James Dunbar, HMS Poulette, at sea, to Admiral George Montague. Provides longitude and latitude references for the recapture of the Prince of Wales Lisbon Packet taken three days before by the Prince de Paix, Spanish Privateer. She was on her return to England, having thrown her mail overboard to prevent it falling into enemy hands.
