Folios 247-248: Michael Dod, HMS Galgo, at Anchor off the Holm Sand. It appearing by a letter of yours addressed to Lieutenant Thomas Miller that he has been appointed to HMS Galgo but his Commission has been sent to Deal. As he came on board from Yarmouth (having heard that HMS Galgo was becalmed here by Contrary Winds). I have permitted him to supercede Lieutenant [Percy Currer] Dodgson and request his commission be forwarded.
