Folios 229-230: William Ely Cooke, [Cooke & Leopard], No 3 Tavistock Place, Russell Square. On behalf of the widow of the late Captain John William Taylor Dixon, lost in HMS Apollo. That he has for a long time been prevented from getting his pay for HMS Gorgon and HMS L'Éclair owing to the difficulties which have presented themselves in the passing of his accounts for those ships and he never had a Clerk to keep them. As his Widow is in distress with three children he requests an order be raised for the accounts for HMS Gorgon and HMS L'Éclair to be dispensed with.
