Description

Folios 226-227: John William Taylor Dixon, HMS Apollo, Hamoaze. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from John Young, Master at arms of HMS Apollo and request his Warrant be taken from him, as he absented himself without leave.

Folio 228: enclosure with folios 226-227. Letter dated 6 March 1804 by John Young, Exeter, to Captain John William Taylor Dixon, HMS Apollo, Plymouth. Is unable to return and expect to remain in Jail perhaps a considerable time due to being in debt to about £150.
