Folios 214-215: John Dilkes, HMS Salvador del Mundo. Due to the many letters he receives on public service and making enquiries after Husbands, Brothers and Sons who have been impressed. He applied to the Navy Board for expenses but received an answer that it was not in their power but he was given to understand that the Admiralty have been pleased to take the case into consideration and ordered an allowance to be made to the Guard Ship Captain at the Nore for stationary and postage. Requests the same be granted to HMS Salvador del Mundo.
