Folios 596-597: Walter Lock, HMS Revolutionnaire, Liverpool. Reporting that the sloop Catharine belonging to Belfast, Bell Master, hit HMS Revolutionnaire in a lubberly manner, carrying away her Jib Boom. The Master of Catharine has refused to supply another. Informs that there are available men at Chester and a Lieutenant has been sent there to put up Bills.
Folio 598: enclosure with folios 596-597. C. B. writes that the only remedy is to take action by law to recover the damages caused by the sloop Catharine.
