Folios 550-551: Philip Dumaresq, HMS Charwell, in the Downs. Informing that he arrived with a convoy of 14 sail from Plymouth and two from Dartmouth. Warns that the Charwell is over masted. Requests permission to reduce the fore top mast three feet from its forty feet.
