Folios 243-244: Archibald Collingwood Dickson, HMS Sceptre. Informing that Thomas Prowitt (alias Powell) was impressed from the Brigantine Emerald by HMS Hound and sent to HMS Sceptre. He awaits further instructions.
Folios 245-246: enclosure with folios 243-244. Letter dated 30 March 1803 by Robert Taylor, Crutched Friars. Asking for Thomas Prowell to be released from his impressment at Gravesend for HMS Sceptre, and returned to the Brigantine Emerald which has just taken valuable cargo to the German Fair.
