Folios 673-674: Philip Charles Henderson Durham, HMS Endymion, Downs.
Reports that he cruised near Madeira then sailed to the island of St Helena where he collected the trade vessels and south sea whalers, but the list of vessels is missing. Reports that he left on 3 September and has arrived with all the convoy except the Harriot that belongs to private individuals in Bengal whom he suspects of parting intentionally. HMS Star commanded by John Gardner was ordered to chase but did not return to the convoy. Recommend Captain Urmstone of the East India Company vessel Sir Edward Hughes for assistance given.
