Folio 327: Manley Dixon, HMS Genereux, Port Mahon. Reports that Captain Velters Cornewall Berkeley had come on board and showed him a commission for the command of HMS Genereux. Dixon felt this to be unjust as he had taken command of the station and strengthened the ship's company by taking on 150 soldiers sanctioned by Lieutenant General Fox. If superceded he would have gone ashore as Alexander John Ball had taken command of HMS Alexander. Asks to be allowed to stay in command of HMS Genereux until a post of similar importance is available to him.
Folio 328: blank.
