Folios 319-320: Manley Dixon, HMS Genereux, Mahon.
Refers to the enclosures and asks for approval of the appointment of a lieutenant. The vacancy occurred when a lieutenant from HMS Genereux was appointed to HMS Pearl.
Folios 321-322: enclosed with folios 319-320. Rear Admiral John Borlase Warren on board HMS Renown, 16 December 1800 writes about the vacancy for a lieutenant to be filled by Manley Hall Dixon..
Folios 323-324: enclosed with folios 319-320. A Naval Office document signed P Hyatt listing the service of Manley Hall Dixon between 20 March 1794 and 10 December 1800 on 4 different ships.
Folios 325-326: enclosed with folios 323-324, enclosed with folios 319-320. A document given on board HMS Mercury, Port Mahon, 18 December 1800, Robert Dudley Oliver, Thomas Rogers and Samuel Ballard to certify that Thomas Hall Manley is qualified to do duty as able seaman and midshipman.
