The vacancy of assistant or Writing Master to the Academy at this Port being vacant and Thomas Bennett the Schoolmaster of HMS Boston having signified his intention of applying. States that he is impressed with him and recommend him in his application. He has (as appears by his certificate from the Trinity House) a complete knowledge of navigation.
