Folios 157-158: Manley Dixon, HMS Lion, off Malta. Robert Dale late Purser of HMS Lion was broke by Court Martial held on HMS Lion at Anchor off Cadiz in May 1798 and preceded to Lisbon leaving his accounts in confusion and not properly for him to rectify and sign. HMS Lion sailed soon after. Request the Admiralty grant a dispensing order to the Victualling Board.
