Folios 133-134: John Dilkes, [HMS Madras], Spithead. Upon the vague hearsay that a new Code of Signals is published, though but very few copies are yet given out. Believes it would not be right to address the Board to let him have one, but thinks they will probably be general before his return, the being possessed of them may at that time prevent me some difficulty as he shall then also have charge of a Convoy.
