Reports that John Coldston, Quartergunner of HMS Veteran, being sent with a Gunners Acting Warrant on HMS Inspector on 10 February 1799 without any order for his being discharged from HMS Veteran's books. Requests he be ordered to join HMS Veteran if he is not already confirmed for HMS Inspector.
