Folios 90-91: Archibald Collingwood Dickson, HMS Veteran, off the Texel. HMS Veteran having (when we sailed under Admiral [Archibald] Dickson) been short a Lieutenant, he has ordered Lieutenant Edward Giles who came out in a Cutter to join HMS Cruiser [Cruizer] and has been following that Brig for six weeks and repaired in that time to Harwich, Yarmouth, Hull and Back again to Yarmouth, to act until further order as Lieutenant of HMS Veteran, HMS Cruiser [Cruizer] not being expected to join the fleet soon.
