Folios 562-563: John Erskine Douglas, HMS Boston, Spithead. Reports his arrival following an order from Sir Francis Laforey, Captain of HMS Hydra.
Folio 564: enclosure with folios 558-559. Report of defects of HMS Boston dated 30 October 1798 from John Erskine Douglas, Captain and J Skeate, Carpetner.
Folio 565: enclosure with folios 558-559. Duplicate of folio 360.
Folio 566: enclosure with folios 558-559. Copy of order dated 29 October 1798 from Sir Francis Laforey, Senior Captain of vessels off [Le] Havre to J E Douglas, Captain of HMS Boston. Having reported that his water is almost all spent, he is to proceed to Spithead and report his arrival there and await orders.
Folio 567: enclosure with folios 558-559. State and Condition of HMS Boton dated 30 October 1798 from John Erskine Douglas.
