Folios 552-553: John Erskine Douglas, HMS Boston, Cawsand Bay. John Mall is acting as Master of Arms of HMS Boston by order of Sir Peter Parker dated 1 January 1796. He was Master of Arms on board HMS Blanch by warrant and was left behind on leave by HMS Blanch in the latter part of 1795 and consequently applied to Sir Peter Parker. Asks for him to be granted a warrant as Master of Arms of HMS Boston.
