Folios 279-280: Thomas Elphinstone, HMS Dublin, Spithead. Acknowledges Order to go to Plymouth to be paid off due to the ending of troop carrying. States he has been to the Geronde 3 times for troop service, bringing in 1800 troops and 50 Officers to Plymouth each time. The last voyage he transported Rear Admiral Foot and his entourage and requests remuneration for the expense.
