Folios 221-222: enclosure with folios 219-220. Samuel Braden, Gunner, HMS Cadmus to the Admiralty, Memorial stating he had been in service 25 years. He was at the colonizing of Botany Bay with Lieutenant Henry L Ball, served in the West Indies on HMS Blanche, was present at the capture of several of the West India Islands, and the capture of La Pique frigate. He was also at the former siege of Copenhagen with Captain Robert Lambert and now 3 years as Gunner on HMS Cadmus. He has a wife and family and the additional responsibility of a widowed daughter and child.
