Folios 480-481: Andrew Evans, HMS Ruby, Grassey Bay, Bermuda. Complaining about his level of pay and the high cost of living and taxes incurred for being located in Bermuda. Believes he will be obliged to"sink the little property" he had realised during his uninterrupted service of 32 years. Had he"stood alone" he could have born this but not with a large and growing family.
