Description

Folios 454-455: James Sykes, Arundel Street. Encloses attested copy of Admiral Sir Roger Curtis's Order dated 4 December 1811 directing Captain Robert Elliot to receive on board HMS Porcupine, under his Command, three Gentlemen and their secretary for a passage from Portsmouth to Jersey. Directed by Captain Elliott to request he be paid the usual remuneration for performing such service.

Folio 456: Enclosure with Folios 454-455. Copy of Order of Sir Roger Curtis at Portsmouth dated 4 December 1811. Directed to receive on board HMS ship under his command for a passage to Jersey three Gentlemen and their secretary as soon as weather permits, returning immediately to Spithead.
