Folios 442-443: John Evans, HMS Martin, Downs. Refers to Admiralty Directions dated 4 March 1812 to give details of his Half Pay from 10 April 1807 to 11 June 1807. On 10 April 1807 was superseded in command of HMS Valorous being appointed on 26 March 1807 to command of HMS Martin. At first opportunity to join the Martin boarded HMS Blossom on 11 June. The Navy Board's refusal to grant full for the period10 April to 11 June 1807 was reason for request for Half Pay, as had not received any pay between those dates. Requests an Order is issued to the Navy Board for pay for the period stated.
