Folios 425-426: Robert Evans, Chester. Informs Admiralty there are many good seaman and carpenters that could be procured in Chester. The town is so crowded at night with them it is almost impossible to walk the streets. A petition recently drawn up suggesting+ they be sent to the Impress service but was not finalised. Also mentions Captain Brishale [?].
