Folios 165-166: Edward Elliott, HM Armed Ship Hebe, Long Hope, Orkney. Has received that date letter from the Hebe's Surgeon stating that Lieutenant Philip Helpman is in such a weak and debilitated state that he will not be able to return to his duties for a length of time and thinks it absolutely necessary he should go onshore for the benefit of his health. Have allowed him to go onshore to Sick Quarters.
