Description

Folios 285-286: William Edge, Sea Fencibles, Aldborough. Daniel Lambert and Samuel Ford have been impressed at Sunderland despite having protections. He asks for their discharge.

Folio 287: enclosed with folios 285-286. Letter dated 21 September 1803 by William Charlton, Regulating Officer, North Shields. He says that 5 men impressed at North Shields were given their protections by Captain McFarlane at Ipswich, but do not appear suitable for enrolment as Sea Fencibles.
