Folios 258-259: Thomas Eyles, HMS Temeraire, Hamoaze, Plymouth. George Commane and Christopher White were discharged from HMS Temeraire into HMS Gladiator in January to be punished when HMS Temeraire was due to sail to the West Indies. He encloses their letter asking for their wages.
Folios 260-261: enclosed with folios 258-259. Letter dated 25 September 1802 by George Commane and Christopher White, Seamen, HMS Blenheim, Spithead. Letter to Thomas Eyles, HMS Temeraire. They say that they received their punishment following their Court Martial and as HMS Temeraire is to be paid off they ask for the wages due to them as they are in great distress.
