Description

Folios 251-252: Thomas Eyles, HMS Temeraire, Spithead. He encloses a letter from the Office of Sick and Wounded Seamen in response to his application for a Surgeons Mate. As the ship is bound for foreign service he asks for assistance.

Folios 253-254: enclosed with folios 251-252. Letter dated 6 January 1802 by thrOffice for Sick and Wounded Seamen. Letter to Thomas Eyles, HMS Temeraire informing him that there are no suitable men available for his post of Surgeons Mate.
