Folios 222-223: Joseph Ellison, Regulating Officer, Gravesend. On behalf of Anthony La Barre he sends in his conduct certificate for the period he served under him in HMS Druid.
Folio 224: enclosed with folios 222-223. Letter dated 20 May 1802 by Joseph Ellison, Regulating officer, Gravesend. Anthony La Barre, a French national, was captured from the merchant ship La Vaudruil in December 1793 and with the approval of the Admiralty employed as a Pilot on the coast of France. He was diligent and gave complete satisfaction.
