Folios 218-219: Joseph Ellison, Regulating Officer, Gravesend. He addresses a complaint made by Lieutenant Fagan that he is owed a share of the prize money arising from the capture of a French vessel by HMS Marlborough when Joseph Ellison was in command. He says that the matter was complicated by Captain Thornburgh, HMS Hebe, starting a law suit over the prize money. He says that other claims have been made and cites Mr. Fraser, master of the Navy Revenue Cutter.
