Folios 244-245: William Edge, Ipswich. John Welham was reported by Captain Baker in August 1798 as having been discharged from Woodbridge District having been captured by the enemy in his voyage while returning to Woodbridge from Liverpool under the usual protection. He therefore was not considered in the numbers.
Folios 246-247: enclosure with folios 244-245. William Edge, weekly return of Sea Fencibles on the coast of Suffolk under the command of Captain Edge of Ipswich. Enrolled 23 July 1800: James Bond, Woodbridge. Enrolled 27 July 1800: Richard Hammond, Richard Lee, Joseph Brigg, Robert Smith, all Walton. Discharged 27 July 1800,havinf left the district: James Cooper, William Scoulding, Jonathon Harris, Jonathon Lloyd, Jonathon Read, Richard Bloys, Robert West, James Chaplin, John Ship, James Annas, James Nunn, John Harrison. Total number of men enrolled=1095, with a breakdown by district.
