Folios 240-241: William Edge, Ipswich. Lieutenant Bremer has reported that in his opinion there are several deserters among the Southwold Sea Fencibles. Captain Edge considers this to reflect neglect by Officers employed in that corps. He has directed the Officers under his command that they should take particular care not to enrol any man who they suspect of being a deserter, and he has no reason to believe (notwithstanding Lieutenant Bremer's imagined information) that there are any under his command.
