Folios 224-225: William Edge, Ipswich. Responding to the request for information about one of the Officers employed on the Impress Service who was discharged from the Sea Fencibles for bad behaviour. Robert Groome is on board the Unity brig of Southwold, Master William Peacock, currently lying at the Armitage or Lady Parsons Stairs, and will most likely be found in the early hours of the morning on board. He has a Sea Fencibles protection with him but it is not in-date. If it is, it is a forgery. He is a good sailor and a very fit man for His Majesty's Service.
