Folios 220-221: George Eyres, Grove, near Retford, Notts. Requests a further week's leave, due to circumstances which have recently arisen and require him to remain in the country a short time. He points out that, however important his private affairs, he would not have made this request had his ship not been found to have such considerable defects on going into dock a fortnight ago, that she would need to be there for a month or six weeks.
