Folios 500-501: Charles Elphinstone Fleeming, HMS Diomede, Long Reach. Agrees to discharge Lawrence Forrest, a Marine, encloses a Warrant from the Commissioners of the Navy.
Folios 502-503: enclosure in folios 500-501. Letter dated 24 May 1798 from Lawrence Forrest to the Commanding Officer of Marines on Board HMS Diomede asking that he procures an order for his discharge from Captain Elphinstone as he wishes to enter service as a seaman.
Folios 504-505: enclosure in folios 500-501. Warrant dated 26 August [1793?] on a printed form to be a Carpenter.
