Folios 593-594: William Hugh Dobbie, HMS Ethalion. Robert Moutray, Carpenter's crew, has given him the accompanying model [not now enclosed] for the improvement of the pipe which conducts water into ships' cisterns, and asked him to forward it to the Lords Commissioners for consideration. he is taking the opportunity of Lieutenant G W Trefusis going to London on leave of absence to forward it and can give more details. The purpose is to prevent the pipes breaking.
