Folios 212-213: John Davie, HMS Leyden, the Nore. He recommends William Howe, Acting Gunner along with certificates from Captain Ramsey Kennedy HMS Regulus and orders from Admiral Foley.
Folio 214: enclosure with folios 212-213. Letter dated 28 June 1814 by Thomas Foley, Vice Admiral, Beach Head. The Gunner of HMS Leydon is a hospital case so William Howe is to be Gunner.
