Description

Folios 172-173: Henry Collins Deacon, HMS Niobe, the Downs. Has dispatches for HRH Prince Regent from the Emperor of Russia and from Lisbon. Lord Walpole asked him to bring passengers and a request he keeps the transports that have arrived for French prisoners. He has bought home the Surgeons and Master that were employed in the Russian fleet. The Emperor visited HMS Niobe and expressed his thanks.

Folios 174-175: enclosure with folios 172-173. Lord Walpole, St Petersburg. August 4th 1814. The Grand Duke of Constantine asked that French prisoners should embark on the transports at Cronstadt so the transports should be delayed to allow the prisoners to arrive.

Folio 176: enclosure with folios 172-173. Return of the sick for August 20th 1914.

Folios 177-178: enclosure with folios 172-173. Lord Walpole, St Petersburg. His Spanish Majesty requests that Spanish troops at Cronstadt are taken to England as Captain Davie was unable to comply. They should go on HMS Niobe. He has written to Mr Brooker, Consul at Cronstadt to obey Deacon's orders.

Folios 179-180: enclosure with folios 172-173. List of valuables and artillery stores left from the siege of Danzig to be loaded on HMS Leyden, under Captain Davie.

Folio 181: enclosure with folios 172-173. List of artillery stores on HMS Bucephalus.

Folios 182- 184: enclosure with folios 172-173. Copy of list of stores shipped on HMS Leyden from Danzig.
