Folios 166-167: John Davie, HMS Leyden, Danzig. HMS Bucephalus under his orders arrived at Cronstadt to pick up artillery stores. Lieutenant Lorry with five transports arrived here but it was insufficient so he applied to Lord Walpole at Petersburg to carry the 400 prisoners or to order more transport. The bed places on the gun deck were removed to make room for the artillery stores. Lieutenant Gilbert and 30 men with the Royal Marines and all the stores are aboard HMS Leyden. He went to Petersburg to await the Duke de Broglie but he had not returned from France so he applied to the Duke of Serra Capriola but to no avail. He asks for expenses.
