Folios 236-237: Man Dobson, Regulating Officer, Bristol. States that is just come to his knowledge that in taking the quota of the registered Watermen of Pill, two Brothers have been impressed, Thomas Bullock and John Bullock with an older Brother, George Bullock impressed some 10 years ago and is now on HMS Superb. Requests an order to discharge Thomas Bullock who has a wife and children and was sent to Plymouth in HMS Ann Tender. Also would like to be directed to cause another Pill Waterman to be impressed in his place. Encloses a letter from the young man's mother and find it to be correct.
Folios 238-239: enclosures with folios 236-237. Letter dated 28 September 1813 by Sarah Bullock, [Pill near Bristol], to Man Dobson, Regulating Officer, Bristol. Explanation of the situation and requesting the discharge of his son. [Mentions a Mr Jolly, Captain Paggett [Charles Paget] of HMS Superb].
