Folios 206-207: Man Dobson, Regulating Officer, Bristol. Reply in the case of John Beer, a Boy as stated by Lieutenant Rowe.
Folios 208-209: enclosure with folios 206-207. Letter dated 20 September 1813 by William Beer, Bristol to the Admiralty. States that on the 14 September 1813 John Beer aged 13 was enticed to leave his employ and enter himself onboard HMS Enchantress at King Road saying that he was 15. Encloses the register of his age and request he be discharged.
Folio 209A: enclosure with folios 206-207. Baptism certificate of John Oliver, son of William and Hester Beer. Parish Church of St. Paul, Bristol 25 December 1799. Born 11 December 1799. Signed Joseph Porter, Curate.
Folio 209B: enclosure with folios 206-207. Statement dated 23 September 1813 by Lieutenant Joshua Latimer Rowe, HMS Enchantress to Man Dobson, Regulating Officer, Bristol. Statement that John Beer aged about 13 years and 6 months volunteered onboard HMS Enchantress on 14 September 1813.
