Folios 128-129: Man [Mann] Dobson, Regulating Officer, Bristol. Covering letter for the case of Henry Harland Ainsworth, as stated by Captain Forrest.
Folios 130-131: enclosure with folios 128-129. Letter dated 4 September 1813 by H Ainsworth, Bristol, to the Admiralty. His son Henry Harland Ainsworth was impressed out of the Diana West Diaman in June 1812 at Kingston Jamaica into HMS Cyane now at Kings Road. It is the wish of his friends to purchase his discharge and beg to send me the terms to me directed to the Post Office Bristol.
Folios 132-133: enclosure with folios 128-129. Letter dated 8 September 1812 by Captain Thomas Forrest, HMS Cyane, King Roads, Bristol to Man [Mann] Dobson, Regulating Officer, Bristol. Dated . Reply to your letter dated 8 September 1812, he sends a statement of the case of Henry Harland Ainsworth. He was impressed from the Diana of Bristol where he was a Boatswain, on 15 June 1812 by one of the Lieutenants of HMS Cyane. He is now Captain of the Main Top. Given him leave to visit his friends and he has returned.
