Folios 122-123: William Dowers, HMS Ringdove, Halifax. Reports that the five boys:- John Stewart, Joseph Nash, Richard Jones, William Powell and John McLean have been placed under the Sailmaker and Carpenter. The first three as Shipwrights and are getting on very well.
